Reservations:
For reservations made directly on our website or via phone, a first-night deposit plus lodging tax is required to secure your reservation and will be charged to the Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card provided.
The remainder of your balance is due at check-out and can be paid by credit card, check or cash (feel free to ask about paying via bitcoin). Your reservation is not confirmed until your deposit has been successfully processed. An automatic confirmation will be sent by our reservation system to the email you provide.
Reservations made through third-party websites such as Booking.com, Expedia, HotelTonight, Vrbo and Airbnb will be charged by those sites and will include additional administrative fees as dictated by the third-party sites.
If you wish us to provide you with a contactless stay you agree to receive text messages through our mobile service, prior, during, and after your stay. You can opt-out at anytime by replying STOP.
Check-In & Check-Out:
Check-ins are scheduled from 3pm to 6pm. Self check-in is any time after 3pm.
If you are not sure of your arrival time or will be arriving later than 6pm, we will provide you with the self check-in information.
Please, call to make arrangements in advance of your arrival if you think you will need an early check-in and we can see what we can do to accommodate you.
In the case that we cannot accommodate an early check-in, we are always happy to do what we can to store your items while you visit the town, tour the property or go for a walk along the refuge.
Check-out is any time before noon.
A late check-out must be arranged in advance with the property management to assure there is ample time to prepare the room for guests arriving later that day.
Other Policies:
Your room rate includes use of the spacious indoor and outdoor common areas, free high-speed internet access, parking and use of the shared kitchen.
Smoking/Smudging/Incense Burning:
The Snow Goose Lodge is a NON-SMOKING property (this includes anything that burns other than the wood in the fireplace). For the health, safety and olfactory enjoyment of our guests, smoking, smudging and incense burning is not permitted anywhere within the facilities, and a minimum $250 cleaning fee is imposed for smoking inside the house.
Additionally, we do not have designated outdoor smoking areas; we ask that you wander a ways from each facility before enjoying your smoke. Do not extinguish cigarette butts on the ground, nor flick them out to the grass. We are recently recovered from a prairie fire and do not want one of our guests to be responsible for the next one. Your complete cooperation is appreciated.
The Snow Goose Lodge is not a dry property – we allow guests to bring alcohol onto the property for their stay. However, we do request that guests drink responsibly.
The speed on the property is not to exceed 20 miles/32 km an hour and absolutely no driving under the influence. Anywhere along the .33 mile /.5 km long drive, a dog, child, or wildlife may appear without warning. So, please take extra care when driving.
Children and Pets:
Pets and children are allowed when visiting Snow Goose Lodge. We know how important and even necessary pets can be and encourage you to bring your pets with you. As well, we enjoy providing a great family experience for those families with children. However, if there is damage to the property while visiting, a minimum $250 cleaning/repair fee will be imposed. If the cost of repair exceeds $250, the cost of the replacement will be charged, and proof of expenditure will be provided.
Weapons:
As we cater to hunters and shooters and provide a skeet and target range, guns are allowed on the property. Guns are ONLY to be fired at the targets or the open field. There is no tolerance on this. There is no hunting allowed on the property at any time.
Any violation of these policies will result in the need to find other accommodations immediately. Snow Goose Lodge is not liable for the consequences of your actions. In such instances, refunds will not be considered.
